Halle Bailey is waxing candid about the pressures of snapping back after giving birth to her son Halo.
The singer-actress welcomed the youngster with her ex DDG in December 2023 and has been a firm fixture in the spotlight in the time since – by way of her work and sharing of fun family moments.
This weekend saw the performer post clips of the latter in the form of beach videos with her sister Chloe Bailey on vacation.
In the hours after, Halle took to Instagram Live to open up to fans about body image issues.
Full story below…
“Right now, currently, I am a little bit thicker than I usually am and…I feel really insecure about it. All my life, I’ve been 120 lbs, really skinny. When I was breastfeeding, I lost a bunch of weight and so, I felt my body snapped back.”
She continued:
“Now, I am 25, I feel weight is sticking more. I am a little fluffy right now and I do feel a little insecure about it.”

Kudos to Halle for being so vulnerable.

Nothing says insecure like poking your dumper to the camera and smiling like bobo the clown.
Gurl you are rich get yourself a home gym and a trainer…
Her as s is grass. 💀 nothing but a baby mana
Celebrities will find a way to complain about the most trivial s***. You 25, lose 25 LBS, its not that hard. Especially for someone that’s notorious for practicing veganism.
Yet you haven’t lost 1 since you been on here Biggie 😆
Girl, you need therapy. F what them people got to say. You just had a baby, and you look good. Most of them people online poking fun are obese, wear bonnets in public, fight in gas station parking lots, and eat carbs all day. Chile, if it was me I wouldn’t pay them trolls no mind.
That’s part of the process. The female body was made to birth new life, not be plastered half naked on billboards. But if that’s what she wants to do would hers then she’ll have to endure the stress of making her body fit into that look.
She just need DDG to hit it and boost her self esteem and dopamine.
