As if SZA hasn’t been turning heads by her lonesome aboard the Kendrick Lamar-led ‘Grand National Tour,’ the 5-time GRAMMY winner only sent critical acclaim for her showing into overdrive by surprising attendees with special guests.

Giving new meaning to the term “special” guest, SZA (born Solana Rowe) wowed Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium when her fellow GRAMMY-winning gal pal Lizzo came on stage to belt out a remix of the 2022 song ‘Special‘ (which also served as the title track to the latter’s last album).
“Okay, so usually when I do very scary things, I have a tendency to bring my best friend with me. You may have seen her,” SZA said when introducing Lizzo on Wednesday (May 21). “SoFi [Stadium] counts as one of those scary things, so I brought my best friend for energy and positivity.”
Later that night, Lizzo took to Instagram to reveal the showing was her first performance ever in a stadium.

Liz wasn’t the only surprise trick up Solana’s sleeve this week.
Friday night (May 23), the ‘SOS‘ songstress was joined on-stage by Pop heartthrob Justin Bieber to perform a remix of her 2022 hit ‘Snooze‘ (which he also starred in the music video of).
