Following a few posts from Nicki on X, Cardi fired back, sparking a heated exchange that quickly spiraled from music to personal jabs speaking on the femecce son papa bear.
As the feud unfolded online, both artists traded insults involving their families, a move that drew strong reactions from fans on both sides.
The situation escalated further when Nicki’s mother, Carol Maraj, stepped in to defend her daughter and grandson, making it clear that some lines shouldn’t be crossed.
She shared:

That boy looks slow!! Nicki should understand that part of protecting him includes never publicly making unkind remarks about anyone else’s child.
