Rita Ora has never been shy about sharing her admiration of R&B icon Brandy, but she recently served a glowing reminder in case some forgot that she’s a certified, card-carrying member of the diva’s fan group (affectionately called #STARZ).

While hot on the promo trail for her new music (namely her latest single ‘All Natural‘), Ora dropped by the ‘Zach Sang Show‘ to dish about the tune and her future endeavors.
Digressing to chat about Bran (born Brandy Norwood), Rita reflected on her visit to ‘The Boy Is Mine Tour‘ and her overall reverence for the R&B diva.
“She’s the GOAT [greatest of all time],” Ora said to Sang and co-hosts. “There’s no one that can do runs and layer the vocals like her…she’s the Queen.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, Rita shared lessons she’s learned from Norwood while the two filmed Disney’s ‘Descendants‘ films and even claims she has voice notes from the Vocal Bible saved in her phone teaching her how to improve her melisma (aka “riffs and runs”).
At writing, however, there’s no word on if the two ever plan to join forces in the studio as previously teased.

She is entitled to have a preference. Youre basically asking her to be disingenuous and give Monica a participation award. Monica isnt known for her runs and layering.
Monicas got a great voice but isnt top tier in any aspect. Whether we’re talking runs, transitions, range, dynamics, vibrato, lows, head voice…..nothing. Thats no shade on her. Shes a great all around vocal talent. Brandy has great agility and this combined with her musicianship makes her deliver some of the best runs in the business.
It wasn’t about the vocals. Read, understand, and then answer. I was talking about the tour — it’s not Brandy’s tour, it’s Brandy and Monica’s. She can praise her all day and all night if she wants; I really don’t care. The point is that you clearly missed the topic.
Brandy is NOT what you and her other delusional fans make her out to be. The nonsense needs to stop. She was a t*** sensation just like Britney who expired before her time, period. Monica is the Christina between the two with class, range and true talent.
Are you slow? SHE was talking about vocals. So for you to criticize her for not mentioning another artist on that topic when said artist doesnt make the cut for that topic was not nonsense. And then when thats highlighted to you, for you to move the goalposts and say you were talking about the concert, well how do you expect to hear the answer you want when shes talking about another topic? Either you were being disingenuous and moved the goalposts and said you were talking about something else when you weren’t cos I ate you up or youre really just that level of dumb dumb.
Love how we are sending less and less praises to Mr.Carter’s wife. They’re probably playing in chicken bones anyway so they probably won’t care right now.
Especially since Mr. Carter’s wife basically stole Brandy’s thunder with that post-DC solo debut.
Not really…. Brandy was bored and was busy living normal life. Thiefsay was busy working overtime sabotaging careers with her criminal husband to make sure real talent would not be a threat. Present day, she’s melting and looking like her REAL age lol.

Girl, please. Tell us why you mad. How can you be a standard when everything you do has been purloined from lesser artists? That’s like making the kid Valedictorian who copied the work of the unknown smart kids in high school to get there.
