SZA is calling out President Donald Trump‘s White House after discovering her song had been used in a new ICE promotional video without her permission.
The GRAMMY winner says she believes the move was intentional to provoke artists into reacting publicly.

Trump’s administration shared a video featuring the singer’s track ‘Big Boys’, paired with footage of ICE officers conducting arrests. The clip was captioned:
‘WE HEARD IT’S CUFFING SZN. Bad news for criminal illegal aliens. Great news for America’.
The ‘Snooze’ hitmaker quickly condemned both the message and the unauthorized use of her work, writing:
‘White House rage baiting artists for free promo is PEAK DARK .. inhumanity + shock and aw tactics … Evil n Boring’.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson responded by doubling down on the administration’s messaging, stating:
‘Thank you, SZA, for drawing even more attention to the tremendous work America’s ICE officers are doing by arresting dangerous criminal illegal aliens from American communities’.
SZA isn’t the only artist pushing back. Just last week, Sabrina Carpenter blasted the administration for using ‘Juno’ in a similar ICE video. She made her stance unmistakably clear:
‘This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.’.
