Like Shakira‘s hips, the Billboard charts don’t lie.

‘Zoo’ pounced to #77 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100; here are the numbers that powered its placement.

• Streaming ≈ 5.3 million U.S.-based streams
• Sales ≈ 1,000 downloads
• Radio airplay ≈ negligible

Zoo’ is found aboard the 2025 ‘Zootopia 2‘ soundtrack in which Shaki also voices the film’s “Gazelle” character.

Released October 10, the tune’s ascension to the upper rankings of the chart’s fourth quadrant was stalled due to the annual rush of Christmas tunes.

This week, however, ‘Zoo’ galloped to a new height when it landed at #77 – marking a milestone for its superstar performer in the process.

The last time Shaki reached as high a mark on the all-genre chart unaccompanied was when her song ‘Try Everything‘ (from the first ‘Zootopia’ movie soundtrack) danced to a #63 peak in March 2016.

Among all her hits, however, the Colombian diva’s planted Hot 100 placements all up and through this decade including two top 10s in 2023 alone (‘TQG‘ with Karol G and ‘Bzrp Music Sessions’ with Bizarrap).
