‘Repeat It,’ the Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran duet that once seemed poised to never see the light of day, finally surfaced on Friday (May 15) in celebration of Garrix’s 30th birthday.

Garrix (born Martijn Garritsen) first revealed news that he and Sheeran tag teamed on a new song in March 2014 and followed by previewing the finished track at the Ultra Music Festival in 2015.

Despite winning critical acclaim for the tune at that time, it was shelved until 2026.

“Underneath the stars / My lungs are screamin’ / This heart is bleedin’ / Well, I love this feelin’ / So rewind, repeat it,” Ed croons on the chorus.
