Queen Latifah Joins ‘The Voice’ for Season 30

All hail the queen! It has officially been announced that Queen Latifah will be joining Season 30 of ‘The Voice’ as a coach.

Full story below…

Latifah is the fourth coach confirmed for the upcoming season, alongside fellow newcomer Riley Green, as well as returning veterans Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine.

This will mark the ‘Set It Off’ actress’ debut as a coach on the hit competition series, although she has previously appeared as a guest judge on shows such as ‘America’s Got Talent.’

The ‘U.N.I.T.Y.’ femcee certainly has the credentials for the role. The multi-hyphenate star is a GRAMMY Award-winning rapper and singer who has released seven studio albums, including the groundbreaking ‘Black Reign.’ The project made history as the first album by a solo female rapper to achieve Gold certification from the RIAA.

The announcement also follows news that the ‘Ladies First’ rapper is set to host the 2026 American Music Awards for the first time since 1995.

‘The Voice’ Season 30 is set to premiere this fall and will feature special appearances from former coaches and mentors.

    As a chair?

Snark aside, Voice & Co. yield no star.

Just a cash grab devised by talent agencies to continue living through artists whose bankable days are well behind ’em.

    Aguilera was right.

      Rightt…why even bother!

America has a serious Baal worshipping problem and only 5-10 artists…Bey, Rih, Cardi B, Nicki, Taylor….ZZZ

Just a show to sell adverts for the network…. nothing more 🙁 The contestants will either end up singing in the bathroom or… back in karaoke bars.

Not the bathroom 🤣 Simon Cowell caused this: pockets £200 million from TV networks for Idol reiterations and sign winners to TV labels. When’s the last time you’ve heard of a TV network owning a label, or a successful one at that?
