New Video: Fat Joe – ‘Victory Lap’ (featuring Jadakiss & Yung Miami)

It’s been weeks since the New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs to collect their first NBA championship since 1973, but the “City That Never Sleeps” has no plans on resting celebrations around the history-making feat – a notion underscored by Fat Joe‘s latest music video ‘Victory Lap.’

Tapping podcast co-host, fellow native son, and fellow hitmaking rapper Jadakiss to assist, Joe raises a glass to the Big Apple with a visual shot during the team’s parade to trumpet their long-awaited triumph.

“Teflon don in real life, yeah I’m him / You’ll never see this twice, cause I’m him / Can’t do yesterday’s price, cause I’m him / Steppin’ on em spinnin’ like Mike, yeah I’m him,” he raps over Cool & Dre production.

Bolstered by interpolations of MC Lyte‘s unforgettable 1989 smash ‘Slave 2 the Rhythm,’ hop inside to get acquainted with ‘Victory’ courtesy of its Eif Rivera-directed music video also starring Yung Miami.
