According to TMZ, huge signs appeared outside Madison Square Garden on Friday evening reading “JUST&T MARRIED!” as the couple’s lavish wedding celebration got underway in New York City.
The pair reportedly rented out the iconic arena for three days, allowing time for set-up, the main celebration, and the post-event breakdown. Around 1,200 guests were said to have been invited, with the venue transformed far beyond its usual concert and sports setting.
Inside, the celebration was said to include castle-inspired staging, a greenhouse, a garden filled with flowers, and a large stage designed for both the wedding band and any surprise performances from famous friends.
The wedding comes less than a year after Swift and Kelce announced their engagement with a garden-set Instagram post, playfully captioned:
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Their romance began after Kelce famously revealed on his ‘New Heights’ podcast that he had hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it during her ‘Eras Tour’.
Now, after seasons of stadium sightings, public support, and global fascination, the couple has entered a whole new era together.
