The family of late singer Amy Winehouse have blocked the sale of handwritten lyrics penned by the star this week, pulled from auction following an ownership row.
Details on the legal drama below…
After learning papers bearing the handwritten lyrics to ‘Love is a Losing Game’ were to be sold at auction, her family took charge and intervened, blocking all attempts to purchase the lyrics for a reported $8,321 dollars.
Upon the successful blocking of this sale, the star’s family were then forced to do the same for a Valentine’s Day card sent from her to ex-husband Blake-Fielder Civil while he was incarcerated, signed under the codename ‘Gemma.’
Set to sell for $3,000 dollars, this note’s sale was reportedly orchestrated by Civil despite his mother claiming that neither she or her son had any involvement in the money-making scheme, three years after her untimely passing.
See, this is pure talent, great voice, cool gimmick, great song writing ability.
I doubt anyone will be running to buy a Beyonce song after her time has come. I mean, how many of those 17 pornographic videos ISNT made for some place in the ghetto.
Back to Black is one of the albums of the 00s decade. True talent is amazing 🙂
I miss her so much. amazing artist. RIP. still jamming to b2b album. classic vibe
I wish she released a 3rd album before she died so badly!!!
