Maxwell Postpones 2nd Leg Of Tour

R&B singer Maxwell may have been flying high over the last year but now it seems that he has hit a speed bump in his career. It is being reported that the 2nd leg of his US tour (which was initially scheduled to begin on June 28th) alongside Melonie Fiona, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu has been postponed until 2011. The reason for the delay is said to be related to scheduling conflicts. All ticket holders for the affected dates will be refunded. {Source}

    Well, Jill and Maxwell were in Milwaukee last month the concert was great but, the venue was far from sold out. Wish him the best in future endeavors!

    pretty wings was okay, the rest of that album was flat out terrible though, slow and boring.

    It’s fine that you didn’t like the album but it was NOT a flop, sweetheart! Try again!

    Anyway, he also postponed it so that it would be at the same time as his next album release, BlackSUMMER’Snight.

    That’s fine, though. My thing is you can’t call it a flop just because you didn’t like it.

    But I loved it, I was just disappointed that he only had 9 songs.

    I guess no one knew, that he is preparing for the second installment of the “BLACKsummers’night” albums.

    So some concert re- scheduling will be necessary. They spoke about it on television, I guess no one else saw it.

    Also Jill Scott is doing her next movie as well as preparing her album , and still battling legal issues in court with ” Hidden Beach” records.

    I love MAXWELL the REAL King of R&B damn Trey Songz! I hate the way the media is controlling ppls careers and pushing some while holding others back. He CD is wonderful but has not gotten the radio play it deserved just like Whitney.

    Glad I got the chance to catch him last month. Great show, however Jill gave a slightly better set. Guess it makes sense because he will release the second installment of his album soon. Just sucks they canceled last minute.

    hooray!!! sick of his a** taking up all the airtime with them stupid songs, and stupid lyrics. i dont know why he got so much attention. those songs R terrible. i almost threw my radio out the window they played that pretty wings so much, and still it flopped. now he can get back to whatever his real job is. driving a bus would suit him

    PEOPLE ARE SUCH DAMN HATERS. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIS ALBUM. THE 9 SONGS WERE HELLA GOOD. WHEN U LISTEN TO MAXWELL U SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU DON’T LISTEN TO HIM SO YOU CAN START DANCING AND GO CLUBBING WTF. PPL MUSIC CAN BE USED FOR DIFFERENT TIMES AND DIFFERENT THINGS. U LISTEN TO BLACK EYED PEAS WHEN U WANNA DANCE NOT MAXWELL DUMB ASS KIDS.

    MAXWELL GOES FOR QUALITY NOT QUANTITY.
