‘OWN’s hit TV series ‘The Have & Have Nots’ continues to soar on a ratings front this year, recently reaching a brand new viewership peak when it returned for a second season this week.
Fantastic news below…
Thanks to storylines that continue to captive audiences, 3.22 million viewers tuned into watch the show’s season 2 premiere on January 6th, making it the highest-rated season premiere in ‘OWN’ history.
Indeed, with episodes for the series having been spaced out, the network refers to all episodes to have aired between 2013 and 2014 as part of its first season, led by characters portrayed by John Schneider, Tika Sumpter and Gavin Houston.
Deadline adds:
While Haves And Have Nots set the premiere record, it did not break the network’s series or viewership record. That’s still held by the show’s Season 1 midseason finale of March 11, 2014, which pulled in 3.6 million viewers. That was up 38% in total viewers from the Season 1, Part 1 finale on September 3, 2013.
