After failing to ignite interest in her solo career Scherzinger continues to rock the world of televised talent contests by joining the cast of the new Sky series ‘Bring the Noise.’
Sky reports:
The show will see Ricky Wilson in his first role as host, with Nicole Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah as team captains, alongside comedian Katherine Ryan as a regular panellist throughout the series.
Bring the Noise, is a bold and fresh mid-week comedy-entertainment series with unmissable live musical performances from chart-toppers, celebrity guests and comedians, and transmits in the autumn.
While Ricky presides over proceedings as host, Nicole and Tinie head up two teams of three. Their guests each week will take part in rounds involving music trivia questions, games with musical set pieces, which will include spoof video parodies and mash-ups. The last round of each show will see the teams compete in a not-to-be-missed musical performance battle.
The set is inspired by music arenas, allowing our audience of genuine pop fans to feel part of the musical action. There will also be a chance for these fans to get even closer to their idols as they participate in some of the funny games each week.
In addition, a House Band will perform throughout each programme, with surprise guests joining them along the way.
Scherzinger’s new gig follows her time on ‘X Factor USA’, ‘X Factor UK’ and ‘I Can Do That‘ in which she starred in alongside ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love‘ singer Ciara.
A premiere date is yet to be announced.
Elsewhere, Lois Duncan‘s ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is to be revived by Oculus’ Mike Flanagan seventeen years after the R&B singer Brandy starred in its box office rocking sequel ‘I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.’
Production on the reboot is yet to commence and fans are yet to learn if it will follow the story penned by Duncan’s 1973 novel but will be pleased to discover are on the hunt for an actress to step into the role of the protagonist Julie James.
Who they’ve set their sights on? Victoria Justice & Selena Gomez.
Exciting news!
However, we can’t help but wonder why Selena Gomez is being eyed for this role. Sure, her time as a Disney princess has kept her relevance above water despite numerous commercial shortcomings but a project as important as ‘I Know What You Did’ aimed at teens, young adults and the nostalgic needs a lead whose brand packs an effortless coolness that Gomez’ just doesn’t have.
If their acting skills are up to par we’d love to see Gigi Hadid or Fifth Harmony’s Camilla Cabello bag the role.
Just a thought.
First Nicole dogs out her Pussycat dolls and treats them like they animals, thinking shes the Diva. Well, Well, Well looks like Nicole ain’t much without them.

I smell a rat, she will be calling them girls real soon, trust.
I really enjoyed this sequel. I remember being so relieved that Karla (Brandy) made it all the way through the film alive! She was playing a kick-boxer and was in pretty good shape. I always sit and watch this all over again, every time I manage to catch it! Btw, I don’t think Selena’s a good fit to play Julie. I’ve recently attended a screening for a film she’s in (that’s not due to come out til next year) and I found her to be a bit pretentious. She reminds me of a little girl trying to be a grown up!
No hollywood is a recycling mess all they do is recycle all the classic movies this is a classic horror movie hollywood is going to f**** it up
