The ‘Bleeding Love’ belter made the announcement on Twitter in tandem with the world-renown agency – whose current roster includes models Cindy Bruna and RJ King, plus musicians Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.

In an interview feature with W magazine, Lewis revealed that she’s on a detox cleanse after secret health challenges in 2016.

She also confirmed that she’s back in the studio collaborating on material with a diverse pool of artists such as Hans Zimmer and Pitbull.

Perhaps most titillating for her fans was the added confirmation that she’s cooking up her own next album too.

The as yet untitled project will serve as the follow-up to 2015’s ‘I Am.’

It’s been a rollercoaster few years for Lewis, following a departure from Simon Cowell’s SyCo and an ill-fated deal with Def Jam which spurned her poorly-performing last LP. A project we liked, yet one few bothered to buy.

In recent times, the songstress has bounced back by snagging the lead role in ‘CATS’ on Broadway.

With this new deal, could a full-on commercial comeback be in the works? We hope so.

Because, despite her struggles, Lewis is still incredibly talented, has a decent catalogue of past material to build on, and doesn’t actually have much competition in her “lane.” Indeed, how many viable powerhouse’s have emerged since her?

It’s arguable that the industry as a whole has moved away from ball-gown divas, but with talent like Leona’s, she’ll always have an audience of some size.

I love me some vocalists! If we could bring back some huge era like the 90s with Adele, leona and other powerhouses to the forefront it’d be amazing. I loved “I am” but it didnt get the recognition it deserved.

All she/any artist who is struggling is release a couple of cute house bops with some DJs to get those easy chart hits then bring out her next album

There’s no doubt she has a great voice, but she’s always missed that special something in my opinion. She needs to bring some personality to her next project.

She would have been adeles biggest competitor now had she not flopped and had a more of personality

Beautiful lady, magnificent angelic voice. People should hear her operatic Ave Maria. She has been let down by her team of late, with a voice like hers she has so much more to give, yet her accomplishments are so far historic. She is one of a kind.

It’s easy to blame her team but Leona simply has never been hungry enough.., she has a stunning voice and I have always rooted for her but there’s no oomph or interest anymore.

She needs to get back to teary, heart breaking, sad lyrics that put her on the charts in the first place.
Having left that genre of music may have gotten her some new fans,…….but has lost her original fan base.
I for one believe her to be one of the best, most talented artist alive today. But she seems to have lost her way with the type of music that made her such a star. She seems to have abandoned her original style for something new.
I really wish she had stayed with Simon Cowell. Though it be true the Christmas album was a flop. Up to that point,…..everything else she put out was brilliant. And one flop out of several success’s does not mean you jump ship.
