With Usher embroiled in one of the year’s biggest scandals on home soil, is he gearing up to seek reprieve Down Under?
According to new reports, the answer is “yes.”

Per Women’s Day AU, the ‘Burn’ belter has signed on as the fourth coach on The Voice Australia.
If true, the news means he’d be joining Kelly Rowland, Boy George, and Delta Goodrem on the panel of the popular show. He’d be replacing Seal.
Beyond his undeniable career credentials, the singer – who turned 39 over the weekend – is more than equipped for the gig. Indeed, he’s starred on multiple seasons of the US version of ‘The Voice.’
For what it’s worth, the show’s airing network NINE are insisting that no decisions have been made or announced. But it’s entirely plausible that they’re saying this due to news slipping out before planned trumpeting.
We guess time will tell.
If Ush is all-aboard, it’s an interesting move. The show runs April through July of 2018; begging the question of whether new music will be serviced before or after.
He’s in the midst of a media firestorm (see: herpes allegations and legal fallout), so it’ll be intriguing to observe what his strategy is.
Old DIRTY D_ICK USHER. YUK
This seems doubtful. Just like when there were media reports that he was joining DWTS. I hear he’s the creative director of this online talent scouting app called Megastar. Won’t it be a conflict of interest to be a judge on The Voice and also serve as a judge for said app?
Tainted.
Gotta get that money!!
Usher And Kelly on my TV screen at once. I’m not mad.
