The wall of silence that is said to have enabled R. Kelly‘s allegedly sickening obsession with African-American children has been shattered by a new documentary unveiled the British Broadcasting Channel.
In it, much to the ageing star’s horror, his former friends come forward to detail the abuse they say witnessed while in his presence and offer proof that he has indeed groomed, raped and assaulted the minors he calls his “pets.”
How viewers responded to the unearthing of his secrets?

I think the reluctance to address R Kelly is both about the disregard society has for the safety & well being of young black girls and also fear of the music industry being exposed like the movie industry has been following Weinstein

Yeah I’ve reached a point where I can’t even listen to R. Kelly’s music. I’m not giving him that “He’s talented but…” pass either.

Imagine if R Kelly’s victims were white women…

R Kelly is the monster that Black Families allow to fester within our own ranks b/c: “Aren’t the odds already so stacked against us?” “Shouldn’t we protect our men who are already so vulnerable”
Silence is complicity.
Protecting predators while sacrificing innocence.

bruv the R Kelly documentary is seriously FUCKED
The morality of the music industry has never been known to be particularly great, but it takes a certain person to protect an artist from abuse and nonce allegations – as an artist STAY CLEAR from those kind of people

RKelly is like that family friend u have to call uncle and at big age he still insists on you sitting on his lap while he says “ you’ve grown nice” makes me sick ? he needs to serve time!

The fact that R.Kelly is still making millions is ridiculous feminists love to talk about toxic masculinity and all that extra shit like diss Chris Brown but then go buy tickets to a R.Kelly concert no man is supporting him that’s all y’all

Yet to see the documentary?
Kelly isn’t the only R&B performer facing fire for alleged crimes against children. Marques Houston, the performer accused of molesting several African-American boys, is said to lie at the heart of Nickelodeon‘s refusal to reboot the hit show ‘Sister Sister’.
The community has to start valuing black women more. The sexuality of generations of young black girls have been sacrificed to uncles, step dads, cousins etc with their own moms turning a blind eye to it in a lot of cases. It’s way too “normal” and acceptable and needs to STOP.
I wish R. Kelly was into men. I would love him to pee on me and drill me out. I will even dress up like a little school girl for him.
Marques Houston and Chris Stokes also need to PAY for what they did to B2K. M_olesting boys is a CRIME.
These are very serious allegations. It is time R. Kelly speaks up and addresses these allegations. I think his silence in the past worked in his favor because the allegations went no where.
Also why hasn’t some attorneys gathered up some of the victims for class action suit against Kelly? They could sue him for sexual abuse, mental abuse, false imprisonment, and physical abuse.
it’s f***** up how black americans refuse to address these issues and would rather point the finger at white people then protect their children cause its easier.
last year white folks reached a breaking point and said enough was enough, black americans still rather throw the rihs of the under the bus than face that Chris Brown’s live among them
Pure whites….are the pure devil.,… I know you’re not talking about God fearing blacks
what the @#$% are you talking about??
R Kelly if you ever read this….. you should consider taking your own life…. or go into hiding and stay away from the public your career is over…. you are the king of R&B and you will always be that…. unfortunately the time has come.
R kelly is not an aging star. hes a handsome rich cigar smoking daddy and is enjoying his life. leave him be. too much slander
He’s been pissing on young girls for DECADES & nobody cares they love his music ?…I see folks can’t move pass the person but still want to get pissed on by R .Pedophilia ???
I agree but he is not a p*** though. Pedos go after young children and usually lose interest after a kid hits puberty. R. Kelly is going after teenagers and women in their very early 20s that have already had puberty and have the bodies of an adult but the mind of a t***.
I’m not surprised at all. He is a nasty pervert who got Aaliyah to lie about her age so they could get married in Mexico. He’s done so many other heinous things that it isn’t even funny. I hate to say this but if this is true he needs to be locked under the jail

I watched the documentary and I’m sorry but even as a woman I am not entirely convinced Kelly is currently doing anything illegal. His girlfriends Halle and Breanna are in their 20s and they choose to be with him. That is not raape. That is their choice. This woman Kitti seems motivated to sell copies of her book but won’t file criminal charges or even civil charges so her claims fall under ‘he said she said’ and Kelly’s team already refuted her claims. The only people that could have confirmed abuse never did (Aaliyah and the girl in the video). There is a lot of circumstantial evidence but not enough to lock him up. A victim needs to sue him in civil court to ignite legal discovery, including depositions.
