Kelly Rowland triumphed in more ways than one today on ‘The Voice Australia.’
The songbird, who is a coach on the hit series, won her second season on the platform when her contestant Sam Perry was voted to victory.
Perry, who has attracted controversy due to his use of electronic instruments and elements, clearly struck the right chord with viewers who voted him to victory.
Ahead of the announcement, the pair took to the stage together to perform a spirited rendition of Michael Jackson‘s ‘They Don’t Care About Us.’
And while Ms. Kelly was guesting, she showed up and showed out – dancers and dancing and all.

Kelly did that and had us salivating for performances like this for her own songs.
With The Voice wrapped, we really hope she’s prepping showings like this for her material…when it drops…which is hopefully soon.

I for one was underwhelmed
Girl you tried it, Kelly has always been the poster child for mid-level R&b singer. Occasionally she shows moments of brilliance, which is why her stans go so hard for her. She killed it in the stage and clearly showed why she has earned the right to be a judge. The performance was great, and I’m looking forward to new music as long as she comes with that FIRE!
she has a relly good voice she has a very souful voice , very brandy-sque , she hasn’t the vocal range of Mariah or whitney but she has a relly great technique!
@Sandra – I agree. She did poorly on the song with the guy but much better with the girl. I always feel like Kelly is holding back or is afraid to really go for it.

Yaaaaassss Sam & Kelly slayed!!! I’m so happy for Sam he deserved this! As for Kelly let’s roll out the new album & tour! It’s been along time coming!
I always thought Kelly was the better singer in the group. Very good.
I was hoping to be impressed but as usual with Kelly’s performances, she left me underwhelmed. Where is her stage presence?

Yes she does, especially when she performs in Destiny’s Child. But the only time I can really remember her bringing it was Motivation at the BET awards.

Kelly killed her performances as usual.
The vocal delivery was not all that and I expected more. This was just OK.

Kelly did good especially the Michael Jackson song.
Boy… when are we gonna get a new Michael, Whitney, Mariah, Celine type of figure again? I don´t see it coming sadly. Success wise Adele came close but that´s about it. And talent wise to match the success nowhere near of course.

I liked both performances & I do like the guys performance better…
Kelly is a great performer, but I feel that she holds back. Like, hit those notes we know that you can hit, and dance like a crazy fool like we know you can. The performance was way above average, but I wasn’t blown away by it. Give me the Kelly who perfromed at the BET awards(Motivation), and the Kelly who performed at Coachella.

I feel like Kelly doesn’t do any kind of vocal exercises anymore or it just seems like she doesn’t her voice was much more Soulful and better when she was younger in the Dc4 days.
Much like Monica whose voice was much better when she was younger.
