Normani is yet again the name on everyone’s lips after a jaw-dropping awards ceremony performance.
This time taking to the 2018 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards at The Woodruff Arts Center’s Symphony Hall in Atlanta on Thursday night (August 30th), the former Fifth Harmony hitmaker wowed the audience as she rendered a tribute performance to the night’s honoree, Janet Jackson (who was on hand to accept the icon award).

Normani wasn’t the only one that had people talking. Jussie Smollett, H.E.R., and Teyana Taylor all contributed noteworthy performances to the tribute segment (introduced by Ciara).

Love this girl! Can’t wait to hear her upcoming projects, I know she’s gonna be dancing her b*** off! I think Mya’s Pleasure Principle was a little better (MTV Icon Janet tribute), but Normani slayed nonetheless.
Not even close! I love Mya and a huge fan, but she did not slay like Normani did. Normani’s Performance is definitely more intricate as far as choreography goes than Mya’s. Also Normani gave a whole performance, Mya’s was basically 60 seconds.

I thought she was gonna kill it tbh but this performance doesn’t even top Tinashe’s BET Awards performance of this song and that’s not saying much because even Tee said she could of done better.

I’m a huge Camila stan, but I’m telling you… Normani IS that b***h and things are about to get serious. Only us day ones know it, but Normani is a multi-talented superstar. She can do performances like this in her sleep. She’s going to shock the world with how much she has to give. She’s hardworking, dedicated, confident, versatile, humble, beautiful, smart, and a million other things that all add up to LEGEND. Watch out, y’all… Normani is coming!
