Eminem finds himself once again in the good favour of the masses.
Last week saw the Hip-Hop titan launch surprise album ‘Kamikaze’ into the marketplace and the set quickly established itself as a shoo-in for the top spot on the Billboard 200.
With more sales info in, how is the LP performing with more data to pull from? Find out below…
Initially, Hits Daily Double reported that the project was almost guaranteed to leap past the 200,000 mark.
Now, not only has that been confirmed, it’s been revised up.

Should the figures hold, ‘Kamikaze’ will zoom past the first week premiere of last year’s ‘Revival’ (246k).
With this album receiving much more acclaim critically and quickly brewing a major hit (see: ‘Lucky You’ is #1 on Spotify), ‘Kamikaze’ seems to be Slim Shady’s true revival.

He would have easily sold 300-350k with a physical copy. These are just digital sales. So these are very very good numbers. And they might increase. But they’re smart because the physical is being released just one week later..
And remember he released the album unannounced and no promotion
i dont really hear anything special from what ive heard from this album so far… just Typical Em with fast Rhymes and punchlines/jabs, nothing standout like OFDENDED OR UNTOUCHABLE but congrats on these numbers, well/deserved. FAN SERVICE, Only reccomend it for the Stans, not a casual listener like myself.
Guess I’m in the minority when I say revival was the better album overall, stronger direction, beats, hooks, and overall content imo tho revival was a overly ambitious project.
Not a fan of Eminem so his music doesn’t touch me!!??♂️
