A Chicago grand jury sent shock waves through the entertainment industry hours ago when it was announced actor/singer Jussie Smollett – originally indicted on just one felony count of disorderly conduct for filing a false police report by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office (as we reported here) – had seen that count upped to 16!

I still support Jussie and I will pray for him. I do believe if you do the crime then you should do the time (in jail) but 16 counts for filing an alleged fake police report seems a bit extreme.

I agree 100% BUT….I think Lee Daniels had something to do with this too. The whole story sounds like a bad Lee Daniels script. Jussie has to take the blame because as adults we have a legal duty to know right from wrong so filing the fake police report is where he went wrong and now he must take accountability for his wrong by either paying a fine or doing some jail time or both.
