Dorian Hunter Becomes First Black Woman To Win Masterchef

                                                                    Dorian Hunter has made the history books. Full story on the talented sister’s MasterChef win below…  Dorian (pictured above) earned the title of MasterChef after winning its latest season and became the first black woman to reach the top as she did so.                    Her prize? $250,000….presented to her after she rocked the competition with a menu that included seared sea scallops with cornmeal tuille, sweet corn puree and pickled Swiss chard, an entree of Applewood smoked short rib with potato and horseradish gratin; and a dessert of lemon blueberry tart with blueberry and cream cheese filling, toasted meringue and pecan crust.     Watched her from the beginning of the season all the way through the end. She created amazing dishes throughout the entire season. So deserving history was made!!! Congrats!!!

    We loved and were rooting for Dorian throughout the entire Master Chef competition! She may have come from humble beginnings, but she was an excellent cook who watched and absorbed every lesson taught and went on to become a stellar chef totally worthy of the title! Congratulations, Dorian!
