Hollywood is still reeling from Tuesday’s news (October 29) of the sudden death of legendary comedian-actor John Witherspoon (aged 77). As of time reported, the cause of death has not been confirmed.
Best known for his fatherly roles in the ‘Friday’ film franchise and ‘The Wayan Bros’ television sitcom, Witherspoon has also had memorable roles in ‘Boomerang,’ ‘Vampire in Brooklyn,’ ‘I’m Gonna Get You Sucka,’ ‘The Boondocks’ (animated television sitcom), ‘The Meteor Man,’ and more.
