Billie Eilish has faced some fire from Justin Bieber fans this week after she unfollowed the singer on the social media platform Instagram.
However, as a new day emerges, it seems that there is more to the story.
Justin spent much of his weekend fighting claims that he sexually violated some of his fans in the middle of the last decade and found his public image caught up in a whirlwind of sexual assault allegations launched at a number of his peers.
So, when Eilish unfollowed a number of entertainers accused of (or having ties with) sexual assault or violence, some fans believed she was doing so to stand in solidarity with victims.
For, amongst the acts to lose the star as a follower were Ansel Elgort, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Tekashi 69.

Fortunately for JB fans, it now seems that her decision to ice him out of her feed wasn’t personal.
Why? She went on to unfollow her entire Following list on the platform.
Put simply, she went on a “spree”.
