Lol I’m only 15 mins in. They could’ve gotten someone else to play Omar’s part. He’s always been anything BUT s*** to me. Was Morris Chestnut unavailable?

It was so bad that it ended up being entertaining

Seems alright to me. I think that Nia and Omar both could stand to lose a little weight. I can’t stand when actors don’t put in any concerted effort to try to BE, outwardly, anything more than themselves playing the role of someone else.

The movie was trash. We seen this done in black movies more times than i can count. Have not been many movies this year but this one wont make waves. Same concept as…..
    lakeview terrace
    The perfect guy
    When the bough breaks
    No good deed
    Obsessed
    The intruder
It was so by the numbers it was predictable.
These and s**** movies are what we get offered in hollywood.

I can’t believe no one mentioned the elephant in the room…the masterpiece called Fatal Attraction from 1987 lol 💯 Chile, my girl Nia straight JACKED IT, name and ALL, on a budget 🤣 Love her tho, but damn 😂 I know midway through filming this she was like, “This ain’t it.” 🤣

I shan’t waste my time with this.

Nia was good, but Omar’s part was wasted. The story makes no attempt to divert from the formula we’ve seen in these movies – same premise, same supporting characters, same climax, same ending. Every moment that is intended to be suspenseful is silly to the point that it’s frustrating, like Omar stalking from outside with a cold look on his face. There was no effort to make this movie interesting.

    I loved itttt

I get that black people want quality films nothing wrong with that but sometimes just watching something to be entertained is okay too. White people make the same Lifetime movie over and over and they won’t ever get dragged as bad for it. It was nice and refreshing seeing Nia. Could the movie been better? Absolutely. But I watched it not expecting much in the first place so I ended up enjoying what it was.

I just think it’s the place these two we should be in their in their careers that makes it different. But a check is a check

I feel you and I’m glad you said that 💯 My mom watches Lifetime movies all the time and I think to myself how meh they are 😂 It’s the same movie, same looking actress, rotate sets, jipper dialog, music cues/jingles, everything 😂 But you’re right, there are levels to entertainment and some people like different things! At least it’s black people with nice things and professional jobs just like I’m used to in my real life lol…Clarkson can’t relate…oh, yes Clarkson can…obsessed STALKER 😂 🤳🏽
