Versatility has long defined what Alexandra Burke brings to the table and she showcases this in earnest on brand new single ‘Naturally.’
Tapping into her Caribbean roots, the flavoursome track teams the singer with Jamaican Dancehall King Beenie Man.
Speaking on the release, Burke said:
“I’m so excited for you all to hear this vibe. It’s the first of a collection of carnival-inspired tracks (coming later this year).
A full album will follow soon… but my new single features THE ONE & ONLY Beenie Man.
It’s been a crazy, weird and mad kind of a year so I wanted to create something we could all vibe too!”
Take a listen below…
A refreshing change of pace, Ms. Burke once again proves she’s equipped to shine with any genre she sets out to.
We’re feeling the pepper and spice of this and hope she continues to infuse this sound into what’s incoming next.
Oh F*** OFF! What a MESS!
Wow! She looks totally different now. Used to classy like kelly Rowland or Leona Lewis but now she’s like a downgraded version of Jordan sparks
She looks like a man
😂🤣😂😂one of da migos
Good reggae vibes. Love it
what in the auto tune is this, girl bye
Gurl go retire somewhere it isn’t gonna happen for you and your horse face
Shouldn’t you be telling that to Camicky
Camicky is the only HorseFace
Alexandra sings circles around the mouse voice of hers
Whoever approved this cover needs their asz severely beaten immediately.
Her debut album was promising.
Her sophomore was disappointing with a few good tracks.
Then it just kept going downhill.
It that Carnival inspired ? I guess we don’t have the same definition. It sounds terrible. What a waste of a talent.
Beenie man the skimmy man.
This was bad, wrong mama… the last time I saw her at a gay club in London like a random girl hanging with over the top gay boys.. she looked so basic that it was shocking.
Too many bad songs out, at least Cardi gave us a shock factor.
TUNE!
So glad Alexandra is back with a dancehall BOP.
The Renegade EP was so underrated (Can We Go Down being a fav which still sounds fresh!). With a catalogue of pop hits, this is more like it!
She has way too much talent to be sat on the shelf or recording unoffensive, middle of the road albums.
WE MISSED YOU!
She’s a talent young lady, but what a pile of old rubbish this song is. Sexist cliched crap. Spouting on about big tings, shooters, gangsters and handcuffs at a time of civil and international unrest and pandemic. This is the best she could come up with to inspire and entertain at a time of misery. Very disappointing – it might be getting in touch with her Caribbean roots but to what end. Please go back and listen to some Whitney and hook up with some quality songwriter/producers in the Soul/Gospel genre, for your own sake.
