Though teased earlier this year (click here to read more), Starz has now officially signaled the green light for another chapter in the ‘Power’ franchise.
The network’s flagship series, the Omari Hardwick-led show bid viewers adieu in February after a six-season run. Ahead of its finale, STARZ announced the award-winning program – helmed by Courtney Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson – would be granted four spinoffs.
With ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ primed for kick off September 6, ‘Power Book IV’ is being readied to center around character “Tommy Egan” (portrayed by Joseph Sikora).
Details inside:
“Power Book IV: Force will focus on Power’s Tommy Egan, with Joseph Sikora set to reprise his role. The previously announced new series centers around Tommy Egan (Sikora), after he cuts ties and puts New York in his rearview mirror for good.
Power Book V: Force, has been renamed Power Book IV: Force, and will premiere following the prequel series Power Book III: Raising Kanan.”
While no official premiere date has been tied to the project, it’s speculated ‘Power Book IV’ will premiere in late 2021 or early 2022.
