Though maintaining a fairly low public profile since his ill-fated 2015 sophomore album, ‘This Thing Called Life,’ R&B singer August Alsina stunned fans with the surprise announcement of his 27-track, third studio effort – ‘The Product III: State of EMERGEncy.’
What fans didn’t know was that they’d be in for an even bigger shock once the award-winning crooner hit the promo trail in support of the project.
Via an interview with Angela Yee that quickly went viral, Alsina confirmed a longstanding rumor that he was intimately involved with the very married Jada Pinkett-Smith for years. What’s more, he alleged her Academy Award-nomianted husband, Will, knew about it.
Jada quickly denied the claim.

With all eyes on them, the Smiths not only tackled the topic head-on but capitalized on the revelation by drawing attention to Jada’s Facebook Watch show, ‘Red Table Talk.’
