Jay-Z has teamed up with the late Nipsey Hussle for a titan-sized collaboration. And fittingly, it’s for an equally epic movie – ‘Judas & The Black Messiah.’
The Rap stars trade verses on ‘What It Feels Like,’ which is housed on the soundtrack for Warner Bros’ new film on the life of activist Fred Hampton.
Anchored by Daniel Kaluuya and also starring LaKeith Stanfield, the film is set to arrive this Friday (Feb 12). Said date will bring with it the soundtrack too, which houses HOV and Hussle’s track.
Before then, a lengthy preview has been unwrapped alongside a final teaser for the film.
On it, Jigga can be heard rapping:
“I arrived on the day Fred Hampton got mur—hold up / Assassinated just to clarify further.
Black stones on my neck, y’all can’t kill Christ / Black Messiah is what I feel like / Shit ain’t gon’ stop till y’all spill blood / We gon’ turn up even more since y’all killed cuh.”
