For 10 years, many have asked ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life.’
However, as the age-old adage goes, nothing lasts forever.
Such is the case for Iyanla Vanzant‘s OWN hit, which is confirmed to be coming to an end.

Moments ago, the network announced that after eight seasons, the award-winning show will have its series finale when all-new episodes premiere April 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
A two-hour farewell special will broadcast on May 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT saluting all the memorable moments and previously unseen footage from the series – which has aired almost 150 episodes.
A four-time NAACP Image Award winner for Outstanding Reality Series, the show saw Vanzant – a bestselling author, spiritual life coach, and host – help folk (famous and otherwise) resolve deep-rooted issues.
Speaking on the series, which has been Saturday night’s #1 original series across broadcast and cable with African American women, Oprah Winfrey said:
“The minute Iyanla stepped onto the stage of ‘The Oprah Show,’ I knew she had a talent that was meant to be shared and I am glad that she created the perfect vehicle to provide OWN viewers with her healing magic. Sunsetting the series is bittersweet. I’m very thankful for her and the work she does and look forward to what unfolds next from her gift of teaching people to be better versions of themselves.”
Vanzant added:
“The time I have spent creating and working on ‘Fix My Life’ has been nothing short of phenomenal. In my heart of hearts, I believe that ‘Fix My Life’ has contributed to the creation of a new genre of television programming, where people get to speak and see how to address issues that have been taboo. To have a network, a production team and a crew that could stand in and participate in the manifestation of this vision has been humbling and most rewarding. My prayer is that ‘Fix My Life’ will be standard for others who have the vision and courage to bring personal healing work to the television screen.”

Even though this was a great show, all good things must eventually comes to an end. I hope she gets peace bc honestly the guests on that show always gave her hell. I never got why they would go on her show after asking for help and they flip the script on her particularly Keyshia Cole’s sister Cafeteria and Buckteeth from Flava of Love..it was awful how they treated Ms Iyanla.
Shay Johnson did great her pretty badly. This was a great show. Sad to see if end
