Despite turning 45 next month, Janet Jackson‘s work ethic shows no signs of slowing down.
Taking a brief break from her sell-out ‘Up, Close, & Personal Tour’, the Pop icon hit up Book Soup in West Hollywood yesterday (April 15th) to promote and sign copies of her New York Times Bestseller ‘True You: Finding & Loving Yourself’. Fans are said to have queued around the block for a chance to meet the superstar diva.
As earlier reported, popular demand has seen Jackson’s tour has been extended to the Fall.

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Janet when she came to dallas. She’s beautiful, it was like staring into the face of an angel. She’s so sweet and soft spoken, and her eyes are just amazing. Although i didnt have that much time with her, the few minutes i did, will last a lifetime. I also have a copy of her book true you. It gives really good insight on her life, and she was feeling at certain times, growing up under the microscope of fame. It’s not an autobiography but it’s an extremely good read. I recommend it to everyone.
