On the latest incarnation of the Mediabase Radio Songs chart, Doja Cat’s most recent single – ‘Get Into It (Yuh)’ – rises four spots from #11 to #7. As a result, it becomes her fifth top 10 hit on the chart.
In doing so, Doja Cat’s ‘Planet Her’ album becomes the first album by a female artist to score five top 10 hits on the chart since Taylor Swift‘s ‘1989.’
Previously, Doja Cat scored the top 10 hits ‘Kiss Me More’ (#1), ‘You Right’ (#5), ‘Need To Know’ (#1), and ‘Woman’ (#1).
As for Swift, her songs ‘Shake It Off,’ ‘Blank Space,’ ‘Style,’ ‘Bad Blood,’ and ‘Wildest Dreams’ all went #1 on the chart.
Both albums were massive successes on the charts with three of ‘Planet Her’s singles riding into the top of the Billboard Hot 100, while five singles from ‘1989’ went into the top 10.
