After planting ‘Flowers‘ at #1 on the Hot 100 for a whopping six weeks earlier this year (her personal best), Miley Cyrus unleashed its parent album – ‘Endless Summer Vacation‘ – for chart battle on Friday (March 10).
Seemingly poised to follow in the footsteps of ‘Flowers,’ ‘Vacation’ hadn’t even been available for 30 minutes in the United States before it shot to the top of iTunes’ real-time sales charts.
Setting in motion a domino effect of domination across the globe, before the clock struck 11:59 P.M. Friday night Cyrus saw her name printed atop the iTunes sales charts of over three dozen countries while her Apple Music reign extended even farther.
Details inside.
At writing, ‘Vacation’ has cruised to the top of the worldwide iTunes chart as it’s listed at #1 in 42 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Turkey, and many others.
Similarly, the 13-song effort – which features production contributions from the likes of Tyler Johnson, Kid Harpoon, Mike Will Made It, and more – also sits as the best-performing album in the world according to the current Apple Music sales listings.
The win comes after it topped the Apple Music rankings of 71 countries including Spain, Brazil, China, Denmark, United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Portugal, and others.
Thanks to the commercial response on those platforms, ‘Vacation’ – once numbers attached to its performance on streaming outlets are reported – could mosey right to the top of the Billboard 200 after its inaugural sales tracking week is complete.
If achieved the victory will mark her fourth time occupying the chart position over her 16-year career (and first since 2013’s ‘Bangerz‘). This count excludes the #1 runs of albums by her famous Disney character “Hannah Montana.”

Congratulations Miley! 🙂
