Teyana Taylor has long defined what it means to be multihyphenate. Indeed, as well as being a singer, actress, model, designer, and director, the star has also emerged as one of R&B’s most sought-after performance coaches.
And it’s little surprise, given how intensely she blazes any and every stage she graces.
Fittingly, then, Taylor’s services have been enlisted by chart-topper Summer Walker – who, despite hitting hard with her musical output, has been critiqued in earnest for delivering performances many have deemed lackadaisical.
Now, just weeks after defending her performance style, Walker appears to be walking back said stance and celebrating getting…help.
See what we mean below…
Via Instagram, Walker – who recently released the ‘Clear 2: Soft Life EP’ – wrote:
“I’ve been working so hard with Teyana Taylor to get ready for the one night only june 1 show in Atlanta. I’m so excited 🤍#keepthatsameenergy”

We love to see it!
Sometimes realizing help is needed and asking for it is half the problem solved.
Here’s hoping it does the trick.
do yo thang baby mama
That’s Artist & development is for! This child has been out for 5 years and STILL doesn’t know how to command a stage, how to sing live, bring chore to life, separate business from personal. All we know her for is 3 songs from 2013, having babies & bashing their father and horrible live performances. Somehow, she’s supposed to be one of today’s big R&B acts.
I’m glad she took the initiative to improve. Her live showings leave a lot to be desired. Teyana will whip her into shape!
About DAMN TIME!!!!
If Teyana Taylor had Summer’s career, she would’ve been unstoppable.
That part! Teyana works HARD and doesn’t make a bunch of excuses.
I couldn’t have said it any better. Tay is a triple threat. Sing dance and rap. Maybe if she became a d3monic witch like summer , they’d push her. But nah summer makes that young, depressed , baby daddy drama music. The young kids love her
