Olivia Rodrigo sent fans into a flutter moments ago by officially announcing her sophomore album ‘Guts.’

Set for release on September 8 via Geffen Records, the LP serves as the follow-up to the Pop starlet’s chart-topping 4x Platinum debut LP, ‘Sour.’

Hotly anticipated, ‘Guts’ is preceded by its incoming lead single ‘Vampire’ (due June 30).

Dishing on the album (which she recorded with frequent collaborator Daniel Nigro), Rodrigo said:

“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life. I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”

Mounting a major promotional push pre-release, ‘Guts’ is immediately available to preorder on CD, cassette, vinyl, and limited-edition box sets via Rodrigo’s online store.
