Flo Milli continues to prove herself one to watch.
Just days after sending her fans into a frenzy with the report she was putting the finishing touches on the new album, ‘Fine, Ho Stay’ (the third installment of the musical trilogy preceded by ‘Ho, Why Is You Here?’ and ‘You Still Here, Ho?’), the Alabama-born beauty was greeted with news her 2019 viral smash – ‘In the Party‘ – had been certified Platinum at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Details inside.
Taking to press at the top of August, the RIAA announced 2019’s ‘In the Party’ – the Raesam-produced Flo song found aboard her 2020 debut mixtape ‘Ho, Why Is You Here’ – had danced its way to Platinum status, meaning it’s sold the equivalence of 1 million units in the United States.
The first song of her career to garner such commercial acclaim, the certification upgrade was followed days later by a report her 2022-released single, ‘Conceited.’ had reached Gold status (a measure that denotes sales equivalence of 500,000).
Never resting on her laurels, Milli celebrated the RIAA wins by releasing the official music video to her latest release ‘Hot Box‘ – a freestyle over Kelis‘ 2003 classic, ‘Milkshake.’
