Mariah Carey may have made history at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards when she captured the 16th trophy of her career (placing her in a three-way tie with Whitney Houston and Beyonce for most wins among women of color), but she also marked a career milestone when she gave her enduring hit – ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ – its inaugural awards show performance nearly 30 years after its debut.
Curated by legendary, EMMY-winning choreographer and director Debbie Allen, the nearly 5-minute showing was a winter wonderland that featured snow, ice skaters, and even an appearance by Carey’s twins Roc and Roe.
