As if the forthcoming Hot Boys reunion and subsequent album wasn’t enough for Juvenile fans to celebrate, the Rap legend – who just learned his hometown of New Orleans officially declared June 11 ‘Back That Azz Up Day’ – is gearing up to take that iconic tune as well as his other brigade of hits on a continental showcase courtesy of a newly announced tour.
Details inside.
Kicking off on in NOLA on July 7, the ‘Back That Azz Up 25th Anniversary Tour’ will see the 49-year-old tackle major North American markets like New York, Memphis, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Nashville, and more before circling back to New Orleans to wrap up on 12/31.
“I am beyond excited to celebrate 25 years of ‘Back That Azz Up’ with my fans,” Juvie said in a statement. “This song has been a huge part of my musical journey, and it’s amazing to see it still resonate with people today and I can’t wait for the moment each night of the tour when the song drops.”
