Following stunning showings from the likes of and Tems, Tierra Whack, Queen of Funk Chaka Khan, Gospel princess Kierra Sheard is the latest to reign over NPR’s Tiny Desk in honor of their 2024 Black Music Month live series.
Unveiled on Friday (June 14), Sheard’s set saw her armed with a band of talented instrumentalists that included her brother and longtime producer J. Drew Sheard on drums supporting some jaw-dropping background vocalists.
Reaching deep into her vault of hits, the multi-Stellar Award winner cranked out live renditions of fan favorites like ‘It Keeps Happening,’ ‘Indescribable,’ ‘You Don’t Know,’ ‘Hang On,’ and album deep cuts.
Hop inside to see KiKi rock the house like only she can.
Congratulations Kiki your voice is one in a million!!!! Your gift is a gift to the whole wide world!!!!
I don’t think she is a good fit for this tiny desk…. she is way too big for this… maybe a two door garage will…
