Because a biopic is on the way and it’s being jointly powered by some of the industry’s heaviest hitters.

The layered life and impact of the Golden Globe, GRAMMY, and Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress, rapper, and singer will be chronicled by way of a joint venture between Latifah’s Flavor Unit imprint, Will Smith‘s Westbrook, and Jesse Collins Entertainment.
Yet untitled, the film will serve as one of many Hip-Hop-anchored biopics being brought to the masses as part of the freshly minted pact.
All of the biopics are being independently financed by HarbourView Equity Partners.
Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere of Flavor Unit Entertainment said in a statement:
