For years Nicki Minaj and Safaree were synonymous with one another.

Indeed, when the Rap royal hit the scene and broke through on the mainstream circuit, Safaree was notably always by her side. From music videos to live performances to songwriting credits, the pair essentially came as a package deal.

Ironically towards the end of their tenure together, it was revealed that they were also a couple romantically.

As fate would have it, their paths would take on different courses.

However, in a surprise move, Safaree was spotted at the Miami stop of Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2 Tour’ on October 6.

Taking to Twitter/X following the show, he wrote:

“I’m proud no cap… a lot of yalll will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.”

Minaj is married to Kenneth Petty, with whom she shares a son (Papa Bear).
