Published: Sunday 3rd Nov 2024 by Sam

Lil Wayne omission from the Super Halftime Show in favor of headliner Kendrick Lamar has been a hot topic of late. And one that many have weighed in on more than the man himself.

However, that changed last night at the Lil WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans – Weezy’s hometown and the location of the Super Bowl 2025.

For, just before performing the song ‘Mr. Carter,’ the rapper let his feelings be known.

Speaking candidly, Wayne declared that the opportunity has been “ripped” from him. He quipped:

“It was ripped away from me, but this moment right here…they can’t take that.”

What was the rush to put Kendrick this year in that place?

It clearly seems like Jay didn’t want to let Drake and Nicki a win.

    It’s a D move.

Girl, you are a terrible performer. You headlining any Super Bowl is a very bad idea.

Exactly what we speculated. He was promised it but Jigga Mayne took it. Wayne never complains publicly about anything thats why I believe him

“Congratulations Kendrick” that’s all you have to say and keep it moving. As a really big fan of first wayne then kendrick it’s a shame to see. Considering you can hear wayne’s influence in some of Kendricks music too. They all look messy and bitter.

Personally just because you’re from that city doesn’t make you the person to perform. Period. I think Jay Z made the right decision. Get over it and go book yourself a gig and prove you still have it and maybe you’ll get to perform in the future at a superbowl

Lil Wayne is kinda promoting the show by talking about it. Let it flop and move on cause Kendick not promoting nothing
