After a rocky 2023 (in which he was hit with lawsuits from Cassie and multiple women), this year proved even more tumultuous for Diddy. For, his legal woes escalated dramatically.
In March, federal agents conducted raids on his homes in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, confiscating electronic devices and documents as part of an extensive investigation. By September, the situation grew more dire with his arrest and a grand jury indictment on charges of sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering.
After several bail attempts were denied, the Bad Boy founder remains held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial set for May 2025.
Adding to his hardships, the civil lawsuits continue to mount. As the year ended, over 100 new claimants were reportedly preparing lawsuits – adding to already filed complaints from women, men, and former collaborators like Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard.
