R. Kelly is back in headlines – and not for a remix.
According to new court filings, the disgraced R&B singer is claiming there’s a murder for hire plot brewing behind bars.

The plot allegedly involves prison officials and a terminally ill Aryan Brotherhood gang leader. Kelly’s legal team has filed an emergency motion for immediate release, citing serious threats to his life.
TMZ reports that the inmate, Mikeal Glenn Stine, swore in a statement that officials offered him early release if he took Kelly out, with plans to bury the case after the deed was done.
Stine says he nearly followed through in March but backed out and instead warned Kelly of the alleged plot.
Now, Kelly claims both he and Stine are targets, and he’s appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court for intervention.
Currently serving 30 years for racketeering, sex trafficking, and child p*rnography charges, Kelly says his life is on the line.
