Much like her sister Beyonce, singer-songwriter Solange has made no secret of her admiration of gospel pioneers The Clark Sisters over the years.

In case some have forgotten how much she reveres the legendary quartet, they were served a reminder over Father’s Day weekend when she honored the group’s legacy at the ‘Glory to Glory (A Revival For Spiritual and Devotional Art)‘ program she hosted at Houston’s Performing Arts Center (June 15).

Branding the experience a celebration of “women shaping Black praise in contemporary spiritual and devotional sounds,” ‘Glory’ come as part of her ‘Eldorado Ballroom’ series curated for Saint Heron.
