Tyler, The Creator reigns atop the Billboard 200 this week with his semi-surprise album, ‘Don’t Tap The Glass.’

Full story below…

The set, which arrived just nine months after the chart-topping ‘CHROMAKOPIA,’ was announced with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Igniting fan frenzy, the 10-track LP was met with ample excitement. It created the perfect swirl of buzz to propel it on the charts.

For, the project launched at #1 on the coveted count with first week US sales of:

197,000

Of that sum, 128,000 units were accrued via physical units. And there was no shortage of formats.

The album was available in five physical variants (a vinyl LP, CD, and three deluxe boxed sets containing a piece of branded clothing and a copy of the CD). They were all sold exclusively via the MC’s official webstore. Each physical iteration of the album featured one bonus track that was not present on the standard 10-song digital version of the set.

‘Don’t Tap The Glass’ becomes Tyler, The Creator’s fourth #1 on the Billboard 200. It joins ‘CHROMAKOPIA,’ (2024), ‘Call Me If You Get Lost’ (2021), and ‘Igor’ (2019).
