Kid Cudi is on the comeback trail.

The rapper made headlines last September when he announced that he was taking a musical hiatus following the release of his last major label album, ‘Free.’

Well, it appears there has been a sea change of sorts.

With the creative juices flowing, Cudi is ready to return.

Taking to X, the rapper revealed that he feels energized by what he’s cooking up in the studio and looks set to serve it up soon.

He wrote:

“Workin w some of my favorite people. Even some new homies. I’ve come to the conclusion that ill be making music for a very very long time. I get in these places where i wanna just relax for awhile but then boom, back in the studio. Its fun, its exciting, and its a high i cant get anywhere else. Music fuels my very existance. So I know i said ima take a break but dont even take me serious w that haha my wife was bustin my balls about it a few months ago. She was like “u cant help it! Ur always gonna make music”. 🤣Theres not a single human on this planet that can provide the vibes i do, so w that said, im not goin anywhere and I will always have ur back. 😎🙏🏾❤️‍🔥”
