Sean “Diddy” Combs could receive a presidential pardon. President Donald Trump is reportedly discussing clemency for the incarcerated mogul as part of a broader pardon spree.

Trump is reportedly considering granting clemency to Combs and a number of other people.
Diddy was sentenced to four years in prison last year after a jury convicted him of transportation to engage in prostitution. A jury acquitted him on other, more serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking.
Trump has previously confirmed that Diddy petitioned him for a pardon. Nevertheless, the president reportedly goes back and forth on the decision.
In January, Trump shared that he was not considering a pardon.
Combs is one of several people Trump is reportedly considering for clemency. Other potential recipients include rapper Prakazrel “Pras” Michel and Malaysian financier Jho Low.
Trump’s “250 pardons for 250 years” plan is not guaranteed. It remains unclear how many pardons the president will ultimately issue.
Combs’ prison stint currently set to end in February 2028.
