Cassie is fighting back against the remaining claims in Clayton Howard’s $35 million lawsuit.

The singer has filed a motion seeking their dismissal, including an allegation that she knowingly exposed the former male escort to chlamydia.

Howard first sued Cassie and Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2025, alleging that he was trafficked and sexually exploited during paid encounters spanning several years.

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, has branded the remaining claims baseless, saying:

“It is precisely baseless and harassing lawsuits like Mr. Howard’s that disincentivize actual victims of sexual abuse from coming forward or testifying truthfully as government witnesses.”

The latest filing challenges Howard’s accusation that Cassie knowingly exposed him to chlamydia. Her attorneys argue that he conflates urinary tract infections with sexually transmitted infections and has not established that she knew she had the STI at the time.

The move comes after Cassie scored a major legal win in July, when a judge dismissed the claims then pending against her. Howard was permitted another opportunity to amend a limited portion of his case.

The legal battle has been simmering for months, with Cassie previously accusing Howard of threats and harassment.

Cassie was also a central government witness in Diddy’s 2025 federal criminal trial. A jury acquitted the mogul of racketeering and sex trafficking charges but convicted him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

A hearing on Cassie’s latest motion is scheduled for October 21.
