The R&B crooner found himself at the centre of a hilarious viral moment while performing alongside Keyshia Cole at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheater.

As Lloyd interacted with fans near the stage, one woman’s wig somehow became caught on a button on his blazer. Unaware of what happened, the ‘You‘ singer walked away, taking the fan’s wig with him. Watch it below:

The unexpected moment was caught on camera and made the rounds online, leaving social media in disbelief. One commenter did a play on words with the singer’s song ‘Lay It Down‘ and joked:
“Lay it down… GLUE it down. I’m hollering”
Whilst another commenter jokingly advised:
“Moral of the story ‘secure the wig'”
Lloyd later addressed the incident himself, explaining:
“Her wig got caught on the button of my blazer and when I walked away, it came with me !!!!! (Just one of many moments from @keyshiacole & Lloyd show in #Detroit).”
